Our Story
Meet the Team
Jessica Biondi, Speech-Language Pathologist
I’m Jessica Biondi, a passionate Speech-Language Pathologist, and co-owner of Dorval Speech Therapy. Here’s a little bit about me.
My commitment to helping children communicate effectively began with a solid foundation in education. With a Bachelor’s degree in Kindergarten and Elementary Education from McGill University, I spent two fulfilling years as an elementary schoolteacher. This experience laid the groundwork for understanding the unique needs of young learners.
Driven by a desire to make a more profound impact, I embarked on a Master’s journey at McGill University. In 2019, I proudly earned my Master’s of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders, unlocking a new chapter in my career. Since then, I have gained experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist, working in both private and public sectors in Montreal.
My expertise extends across a spectrum of pediatric speech, language, and communication disorders. I’ve honed my skills through various professional development opportunities, obtaining certifications in programs such as the Lidcombe® program and completing the “More than Words” workshop from the Hanen® Centre.
As a former educator turned clinician, I seamlessly blend my teaching background with my current practices. I pride myself on fostering strong connections with the children I work with, creating an environment where both parents and children feel comfortable sharing their concerns. This open communication enables me to address specific needs more effectively.
I am particularly enthusiastic about integrating my teaching experience into my speech-language pathology practices. This unique combination allows me to enhance children's academic and daily life experiences, providing comprehensive support for their communication journey.
Join me at Dorval Speech Therapy, where a warm and inclusive approach meets professional expertise, creating a space where children thrive and communication flourishes.

Jennifer Fabbro, Speech-Language Pathologist
I am Jennifer Fabbro, a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist and co-owner of Dorval Speech Therapy. This is a little bit about me!
From an early age, my profound interest in speech and language therapy was cultivated by my personal experiences. Growing up with a younger brother diagnosed with DiGeorge syndrome, I actively participated in his weekly speech therapy sessions. Witnessing his remarkable transformation from non-verbal to adept communication, sparked a profound passion within me to assist other children in achieving effective communication.
My academic foundation began with a Bachelor of Arts in Linguistics from Concordia University. This comprehensive program equipped me with invaluable problem-solving and analytical skills, enabling me to navigate the intricacies of language.
Building upon this foundation, I pursued a second Bachelor's degree in Kindergarten Elementary Education from McGill University. Engaging in half a school year of kindergarten teaching upon finishing my degree further heightened my awareness of the diverse learning needs of each child.
Motivated by these experiences, I finally embarked on the path to become a speech-language pathologist. In 2023, I proudly obtained my Master’s of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders from McGill University, marking the start of my fulfilling career. Since then, I have gained diverse experience in both the private and public setting.
My skills span across a variety of different needs within pediatric speech, language, and communication disorders. Along with this, I am committed to continuous professional development, demonstrated through my attendance at conventions like the American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA) Convention, and through engaging in professional development opportunities, obtaining certifications in the Lidcombe® program, and the More than Words workshop from the Hanen Centre®.
Drawing from my background in linguistics, teaching, and clinical practice, I have seamlessly integrated my knowledge and experiences. This integration has allowed me to establish a practice that fosters strong connections with the children I work with, creating a safe, joyful environment that children eagerly anticipate, and where parents feel comfortable expressing their concerns.
I am thrilled to embark on this exciting new chapter, establishing Dorval Speech Therapy as a place where children are not just clients, but cherished members of our extended family. Within these walls, my goal is to cultivate an environment of genuine warmth and inclusivity, including an approach that seamlessly blends heartfelt care with professionalism, ensuring that each child's unique needs are met with precision and compassion, and where children not only thrive but also witness the blossoming of their communication skills.
